I saw this challenge on the Daily Post’s weekly challenge and decided to totally steal the idea. What a fun way it is to end the weekly challenges – on a happy, crazy, musical creative note.
The challenge is very simple. Pick a song that you like and tweak the lyrics. This is your turn to show ’em what you’ve got!
A few things that might help you
- The theme is all up to you. It could be a funny parody, an angry song (think of a happy song and make it an angry song like Happy by Pharrel Williams could be ‘Angry’.) You could tell a story with your lyrics. It is all up to you. Whatever gets your creative juices flowing.
- Leave a YouTube link with your post to help others sing along with you.
- Go crrrraaazzziiiieeeee!!!!!! 😀
You can leave a link to your post or write the post in the comments. (It is preferable if only the people who do not have blogs, but want to participate, use the comments for their post. Lets try to keep the page as neat as possible) If you like someone’s post, do tell them that you appreciate their work by liking their post.
If you are finding it difficult to post your piece, you can email it to me at email@example.com and I will post it for you.
Remember the challenge closes at midnight on November 27th, 2014. Also, remember to hashtag your posts! #bitofthisandlotofthat. Do not hesitate to get in touch with me for anything at all at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Keep rockin’ and rollin’
Strappin’ and strollin’
Havin’ some funnin’
(Sorry! I know that was bad!)
